- What are the most oversold stocks today?
- The most oversold stocks are those with the lowest 14-day RSI (relative strength index), ranked from Friday, Sep 18. An RSI below 30 is the classic "oversold" threshold: the stock has fallen fast relative to its recent range, which mean-reversion and dip-buying traders watch for a potential bounce.
- What is RSI and what does oversold mean?
- RSI (relative strength index) is a 0-100 momentum gauge comparing the size of recent gains to recent losses over 14 sessions. Below 30 is considered oversold (selling may be overdone); above 70 is overbought (buying may be extended). Oversold does not guarantee a bounce, but it flags stocks stretched to the downside.
- How is this list filtered?
- We compute RSI(14) from daily closes across every U.S. stock, then keep only liquid names (price of $1+ and at least $1M in dollar volume in the latest session) so the list surfaces tradable stocks, not illiquid microcaps. Results are ranked by dollar volume and update daily.
